Bambii (Toronto, ON)

The dj’s fundamental concerns are dance and juxtaposition. How bodies move and meet, how songs might overlap, how cultures and histories collide – these are the things a dj should care about. In my work, I use the space that I take up – to prioritize those bodies, songs, cultures and histories that are less seen, more obscured, and in need of exposure. In EUTHANASIA, my focus is on the bodies of women acting within and without the male gaze, and the sounds of the global underground, decentralized, independent and free flowing (to some extent) through the virtual world that is the internet.

Tasha the Amazon (Toronto, ON)

Toronto’s Tasha the Amazon is an artist, producer, and bad gyal. Notorious for rude stage antics and warehouse parties shut down by police raids, her unconventional lyrics deal as much with partying and hood mischief as they do with anarchy and civil disobedience.

Clairmont the Second (Toronto, ON)

A moniker and name that recalls royalty, Clairmont The Second is a music artist/producer with a perspective well beyond his years. At 18 years old, Clairmont has released several bodies of work; most recently “A Mixtape By Clairmont The Second” and “Quest for Milk and Honey”. As he goes forth, this Toronto titan has worked with the best the city has to offer, including Harrison, Shi Wisdom, Spek Won, and has shared the stage with Goldlink, Keita Juma, and McCallaman to name a few. His highly anticipated full length LP “Quest for Milk and Honey” was released July 3rd including guest verses from Blues now known as M.I BLUE and Cola.

Reeny Smith (Halifax, NS)

Reeny Smith and her incredible band will leave you wanting more after you’ve seen and heard them! With her powerful vocals, smooth R&B/Pop and tight as hell and funky as all get-out band this is a show you don’t want to miss!

Quake & Kayo (Halifax, NS)

Kayo Guevarra (né Filbert Salton) was born and raised in the Caribbean island of St. Lucia. Inspired by the likes of Bob Marley, The Fugees, Kardinal Offishall, 2Pac, and Jay-Z, Kayo’s music is a blend of Hip hop with the Melodic vibe of R&B and a certain rawness of Reggae/Dancehall.

Quake Matthews is a hip-hop artist who first made a name for himself in the underground battle rap scene in his early teens. Harnessing the raw energy and competitive spirit found in that arena, he was able to transcend into the multi layered artist he is today. His raspy voice and unfiltered emotion have given him a signature sound, creating a captivating listening experience for his audience.

Elijah (Halifax, NS)

Elijah is a 23-year-old pop and RnB singer from Enfield, Nova Scotia. He has collaborated and toured extensively with fellow Enfield native Classified, and will be releasing his first album in 2017.
